Molded Blanks
Phoenix Optical Technologies Ltd (POTL) are experts in re-heat molding of challenging and high-cost glass types in form-ready shapes. Molded blanks yield the most cost-effective use of expensive optical glass. These hand-crafted blanks can be formed into geometries that may otherwise be impossible to yield from the glass manufacturers’ natural strip or block forms. We supply glass blanks in excess of 200mm diameter and overall thickness >40mm in some of the most process-sensitive glass types.
